I wonder

if my Dad knew of this site...
it would have been right up his alley. Talk To Action

anyway, the house feels very empty now, but we had such a great time that the echoes of that will reverberate for a long time. I love those guys. Three terrific young men.

a lunar eclipse

like you've never seen...
these are some pretty amazing visuals:
lunar eclipse from space
I am especially overwhelmed by the texture of the sun. if you have highspeed, check out the large movie, the surface of the sun is incredible.

all right

all right...
my Mom's been bugging me to write again (love you!), so I thought I should. this is my last day of vacation, and I've actually been productive! I got some more boxes/bags unpacked, and a load of laundry in (I love being able to do laundry. I know, it won't last.), and just made a can of my favorite soup: Progresso Hearty Chicken Rotini. good stuff.
anyway, I have had moments of guilt during vacation, as I mostly played WorldofWarcraft, but then I realized that no one would begrudge me a trip to Bermuda or somewhere, and if I was there, I would just be sitting on a beach, doing nothing. so, here I am, in my wonderful house, doing not much of anything. so there. I have paid bills, done laundry, shoveled the roof (fruitlessly. I still have ice dams that are dripping water into the bathroom...), unpacked some boxes, directed the church choir, did a short highlight program of Fiddler on the Roof at school for the Waterbury Community Fair, and leveled Gaack to 70 and bought my flying mount, Brawn. oh, and interacted with several living people, both in person, and online, on the various forums that I frequent.
not nothing, I guess.
ok, one more interesting site, which I may have linked to before, but oh well: The Speech Accent Archive
pretty fun, and being from South Dakota, and living for half my life in Vermont, I of course, have no accent. heh.

later, gators.
