HAPPY

BIRTHDAY!!!!
to my sister, Kathy!

I hope that you are having a great day!

I love you.

Chellis!

at the UN
woohoo! they have the webcast archive up from the Day of Peace that Chellis attended last week, and at about 5:45 into it, you can see Chellis!!

Student Commemoration 2007 (pick the Student Commemoration 2007 link)

it's right after the Secretary General's speech. (you know, naming someone the General in a Peace organization seems a bit strange...)
I don't know that I'll watch all three hours, but it's pretty exciting to see Chellis!
speaking of Chellis, he's down in Boston this weekend visiting his cousin Elissa. I'm sure they are having a great time!

well, I suppose I'd better get to fixing the leaky kitchen faucet.... whee.

International Day

of Peace...
Chellis got on a bus late last night to attend this:
International Day of Peace
he'll be back late tonight, so it's a whirlwind trip, but it should be so exciting! I can't wait to hear all about it.
it was a pretty sudden decision, as his friend called him very late Wednesday night to ask if he could/wanted to go. it sounded like a great opportunity to me, so absolutely!
pretty cool.
edit:
so here's so more info about Chellis' day in NYC:
International Day of Peace
the webcast link doesn't take you to Friday's broadcast, but I'm hoping that eventually they will have an archive up. Chellis had a good time, and said it was pretty exciting, though Jane Goodall is crazy, and the HRH Princess put him to sleep. both important things when one discusses peace. :¬ )

I just had to share

this...
the most beautiful libraries in the world

amazing. I find one that is my favorite, then a couple of pictures down is one even more amazing. if I had nothing else to do, I would spend a week in each one.

have a great week...
