January 21...

the week ahead...
my mom is always bugging me about updating my calendar, and I'm just not that organized. (I actually have three calendars going at the moment: my Palm, one on my home computer, and one at school) so, rather than trying to get my whole life together, I thought I would just post a brief overview of what lies ahead...

today, Monday, I had a radio interview, and then got the van in for an oil change, and some other work. then home, made some lunch, answered a bunch of emails, and practiced Beethoven (I'm feeling good about that!). then made supper (hamburgers and fries-yum!), and Chellis and I watched the 5th Harry Potter movie. back on the computer to hit a few forums and try to get a date, and now is now.

the rest of the week is busy: Tuesday-back to school, a meeting after school, and then I need to get some Counterpoint website stuff done that I should have done this weekend. and practice Beethoven. Wednesday, Bess comes over to talk about the music for the Voices Movie (which has a better title than that, but I can't remember what it is...). Thursday-I need to have a long Annie rehearsal at some point, to read through the show with the cast, so maybe Thursday? Counterpoint that night, and I'm running the rehearsal, since Bob is doing a Beethoven rehearsal with the orchestra. Friday-school, then go to Burlington for Beethoven rehearsal. should be great! though we do it in Memorial Auditorium, and that's a lousy place to sing... but it will be fun to finally sing with the other soloists. Saturday-BEETHOVEN! dress rehearsal at the Flynn early afternoon, with the concert that night. fun! Sunday-church in the morning, and then drive to Rutland for Beethoven.

oh, and somewhere in there, Bob wants me to develop a program for an upcoming Counterpoint concert, and we start a new quarter at school, so I'll have all new students in my general music classes. and I'm sure there's a couple more things that I'm forgetting...

whew! that's my week! hope yours is as fun!

Guess Whose Birthday It Is!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROG!
Much warmer here today than it was on that fateful day 46 years ago....

Love,
Your Big Sister, Kathy, Who Finally Had a Baby Brother That Day!

snow, snow

and more snow...
happy new year!

we're forecast for 10-14 inches through tomorrow morning, so I know all the students, and most of the teachers are thinking snow day....

I should get out and brush the 6 inches off the car that we've gotten over the last couple of days!
